This story is from the oral Torah of the Jewish people. Our Torah scrolls are hand written and some letters in the scroll are decorated with "crowns" or you might say flourishes. Our Rabbis (teachers) are forever looking at the Torah to gain greater insight. As I understand it, this post highlights our Rabbi's teaching that we as humans don't understand everything, i.e. like why some of the letters of the Torah have flourishes and others don't, but G!d does understand why and we can trust in that.
