What are your thoughts on Mike Carey using the gender-neutral pen name M. R. Carey and then his books suddenly selling far more copies?

I don’t really know anything about that, but I will say that Mike Carey is one of the kindest and most talented people in comics. He’s more than just a nice person, he’s one of those guys who does kind things without ever hanging around to accept the thanks, and his writing is a MASSIVE influence.

I’m currently reading The Girl With All The Gifts and it’s amazing.

I don’t care about pen names, people can call themselves what they want, I should think, as long as they’re not doing anything dodgy like pretending to be from a culture they aren’t.
