I'm a big Ellis fan but part of being a big Ellis fan is accepting that a whole lot of his series never get finished. I read the comment about that as a joke, and not a mean spirited one, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don’t know that, most of the work of his that I love feels complete. If there’s other stuff, well, that happens sometimes with many of us.
