So I got a cane today.
I’ve struggled on and off with knee issues (my right knee has been fucked up because of dance) and it acts up pretty easily. And this time it’s been locking up and giving out on me, so I got a cane to help out in the mean time.
And I’d be so mortified if it weren’t for @lbardugo‘s Ketterdam series. I just keep imagining myself as Kaz, walking around like a total badass, even though my friend’s been making fun of me since I got it for “becoming a grandma at 22.”
Also I met Leigh yesterday, and I don’t have the pictures to prove it, but she’s so lovely. She signed both my books, and she loved my dress. She said it was very Nina, which made me happy because that’s what I thought when I put it on, and I was hoping to use it as a conversation starter, but she brought it up before I could mention it.
I am so proud of you and that red dress was STUNNING.
