All throughout school, my classmates insisted pointing out whenever a teacher/professor made a mistake. I’m sure there was no small part of slagging authority going on. But I also think there that fundamentalism had a significant role to play in pointing out the mistakes. Fundamentalism meaning that, how can we get to B or C if A is wrong?
Now, to be sure, when big mistakes are made they should be corrected...
