Well it's October and we're getting deeper into autumn here in England.
The sunlight has changed to that soft amber glow and the leaves on the
trees are beginning to change colour to all shades of reds and golds.
I've also been collecting conkers. Not to play with but to put in a bowl
and to admire their deep rich red mahogany.
Two of my DI Andy Horton crime novels are set in October. The second in the series,
Deadly Waters and the eleventh,
Shroud of Evil. Both are available in paperback and as an ebook.
The seasons and the sea are both great inspirations for me. This month
sees me putting the final touches to DI Andy Horton number fourteen
before moving on to number fifteen, while number thirteen is to be
published in February 2017. I'll also be working on final revisions to
the third in the Art Marvik marine crime series.
