Pam Venne A hug or a gentle touch is food for the soul and can be savored over again and again. Food sustains one's existence. Neither is easy to solicit, especially the former.

Ferrara Maria Cristina Un uomo non può soffrire da solo
Spezziamo insieme il pane della sofferenza
e beviamo al calice del dolore
Insieme...
Sconfiggeremo così la morte.

A human can't suffer alone
Let's break together the bread of suffering
Let's drink from the chalice of pain
Together...
We will defeat death this way.

Thanks for your words

V Such a true words... I had a time in my life when I had big problems and needed help from relatives and friends in both ways (financial, and spiritual), and I was saying about it but didn't ask straight for help, and everyone just left me alone in my sorrow. After sometime when things got a bit better, and I didn't needed their help they came back and on my accusations about their betrayal, when I mostly needed them they've been answering exactly the same thing as you said - “if you was in need, you would have asked.”
