So, @happierstill tagged me in a thing (whoa, hello stranger!) to say which three fictional characters somewhat represent you. This is really, really hard, at least after the first one, which wasn’t hard at all, lol. Here’s what I’ve finally come up with:
1. Sherlock Holmes. Specifically the BBC version. Not a huge leap there. Alone is what I have/alone protects me - yup. Except I have you guys, too. :) I’d like to think my blog is very slightly less boring than Sherlock’s. But yeah: I’m a Capricorn just like my hero, I’m logically-minded, yet also thin-skinned and far too vulnerable on occasion. Too intelligent for my own good. Petulant and childish sometimes (lol), but also incredibly competent in my specific areas. I can come off as uncaring, but when push comes to shove, there are no limits to my love or to what I would do for the people I love.
2. Mycroft Holmes. Go ahead and laugh. I’ve written from his perspective exactly four times now and it scares me how easy it is to slip into his head. Mycroft reminds me of many of my less stellar qualities: impatience, occasional arrogance, a certain disdain for footwork and goldfish. Of the two Holmes brothers, I’m definitely more like Sherlock, but still.
3. John Watson. Ha! I didn’t mean to pick three from the same universe, but I literally can’t think of anyone else! But yeah, John for sure: loyal, belligerent, warm, prickly, all of those wonderful contrasts that John embodies. A little messed up, yet still pretty badass, on the whole. Bisexual. Will pick a fight where a fight needs to be picked, or be the friend who drags someone else away from one. Flirtatious when drunk. Absolutely. ;)
I’m tagging, at mostly random here: @sarahclapp, @ravenmorganleigh, @totallysilvergirl, @sporadicdonut, @heymanticore, @consultingeastwind, and @cricketcat9. And anyone else who wants to do it. Do it and say I tagged you. :)
