The music that inspired Race for the Flash Stone climax

I received a lot of feedback from my previous post about the music that inspired the relationship between Anlon and Pebbles in Shadows of the Stone Benders, so I thought you might like to hear the song that inspired the climax scene of Race for the Flash Stone.

Though I haven’t yet written the climax of Race for the Flash Stone (getting close), I conceived the scene in July after hearing this song. It’s called Sunlight by an artist known as The Magician with the assistance of a group called Years & Years. The version I prefer (and the one that inspired me) is the Darius Remix. If you’d like to listen to the song, you can hear it on You Tube here. I love how the artists blended mysterious/intense music with hopeful/positive energy lyrics.

I will warn you that if you like to crank up the volume on this song like I do, I’d be cautious with your woofers at about 54 seconds into the song and again at 2:40 into the song.

Can’t wait to write the climax!!!

For those interested in just the lyrics (repeated three times during the song), see below:

Sunlight

by The Magician, featuring Years & Years (Darius Remix)

And it fills me up

And it starts to shine

And I see it burn when you bring me sunlight

Is it all you need

To feel this heat

To feel like everything is all that you dreamed

Is it all too much

Did you get enough

Does it set on fire all the things that you touch

And it fills me up

And it starts to shine

And I see it burn when you bring me sunlight
