Today is International Day of Peace, and I wish it for you, all of you, more than I ever have. We live in a fractured world, with cracked systems and broken ideals and peace can seem more elusive than ever…but it is not. We have time to fix this, we can save ourselves, but we must try. Come now peace, come tenderly and swift, come and soothe the aches we’ve created by neglecting real, positive change all these years. Enough with people dying, unarmed and helpless, enough with bombs dropped and cynical side eyed glances at people we were born to love Because of their differences. Enough. We can begin again and we can do it now. Today. Happy International Day of Peace. I wish it for you now, more than ever before.
