All that Glitters is AWESOME

My niece Anna has this amazing skirt.  It has layers upon layers of pink tulle over a satin underskirt with a ruffly hem and polka dots made of golden glitter.

I mean, OMGrsh, right!!

She wore it a few weeks ago, and noticed me admiring it.

(Side note:  It’s a beautiful thing when your nieces become old enough to share their clothes with you.  Their clothes are waaaaaay cooler than mine.)

*dies!*

She gave it to me.

(I love you, Anna.)

It does leave glitter everywhere, but I don’t see that as a problem.

I see it more as marking my territory.

I pair it with my denim shirt and sequin undershirt and it makes me feel like a cowboy ballerina princess.

*dies again*

Last week, I wore it on the train.

When I caught the train home, it must have been the same train from that morning, because:

Fabulous.  Srsly.

I’ve heard there’s an internet shop that lets your enemies buy envelopes full of glitter to send to you.  When you open the envelopes, glitter gets everywhere.

Obviously I need to make more enemies.

GLITTTTTEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

In other news…I decorated my porch like the Haunted Mansion!  I really like the Haunted Mansion ride, I’d love to write a novel based on it.  (That, and Candyland.  I’ll add it to the bucket list.)  Anyway I think the porch looks pretty groovy.

The “Haunted Mansion” font is called Ravenscroft.  (Or at least, the knockoff I used is.)

I found the idea for Madam Leota’s head on pinterest.  You turn a fishbowl upside down, fill it with black tulle, and cut out a photo picture of her head.  Gnarly.

The only problem?  No one will see it…my townhouse is tucked away in the corner of the subdivision, and the front door faces a fence.  Bummer.  But at least I can share it here ^_^
