I am so sorry. I offer my condolences. Grief is but a mere stepping stone towards the reunion of the soul and mind/body. I like to look at life as though we are souls who have bodies. That concept alone changes the way we perceive life. Rather than dreading death, it is celebrated; for death is the beginning of the soul’s journey back to the light we call home. And though we miss their physical presence, the beautiful energy left behind creates a faint essence of their being so we truly are never alone.
Unfortunately we all do grieve regardless because for a moment we are so shocked that we disconnect from ourselves. But believe me, it gets easier with time. Life is but one stage of the long journey ahead. Be strong and hold on. Let yourself grief for as long as you need to but then gather yourself and be whole again. There is so much of life we will never know or understand. Don’t let the unknown scare you into depression. Have faith. We don’t have to have all the answers and know everything. Life is about acknowledging the unknown and just living. ♡
