I loved the introduction to another culture and the serene beauty of it. You have to let your mind slip into this world to understand how others perceived America. The soft and tender romance of the young couple is something almost all who have been married for a long time can relate to. It shred light on how political changes can affect the average person which is something not reveal enough. The language was very lyrical and poetic, a style that isn't used much in writings anymore. But adds flavor to the literary work. All around, it is a very intriguing read.
