I find it annoying that I can no longer reply to replies publicly on Tumblr.

Squelches discussion and a sharing of ideas, which I guess shouldn’t be too surprising as this IS Tumblr.

Used to be, back in the day, when I was a kid and all phones had dials, you could click a button on a reply to a post and, ta-da, it would become a new post. You could then respond publicly and maybe, perhaps, an informative discussion would ensue (either that or a giant fight lol).

But I miss those days.

I could be, however, doing it wrong. Maybe there is a way to do this and the technology has simply passed me by. Maybe I’m just an idiot.

I certainly wouldn’t be surprised.
