This past weekend, I had the pleasure of flying to San Francisco--my old stompin' grounds (yes kids, I grew up in the Bay Area following my time in Caracas Venezuela!)--for a "Special Appearance" at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM San Francisco  Open House. The FIDM Open House is a day for anyone interested in a career in Fashion Design, Styling, Apparel Manufacturing, Visual Merchandising and so much more and see what it is like to be a student at the college.

As part of the FIDM Open House activities, I had the honor of speaking to the attendees--about my time at FIDM, and how to get the most out of the college as well as lots more--like "Project Runway" and red carpet dish...

Also, in addition to my lecture and appearance at FIDM San Francisco, I was thrilled that the campus had the FIRST BATCH of MY NEW BOOK (!) "A Passion For Fashion" and so, naturally, they had a special Book Signing/Meet & Greet following my lecture for anyone who purchased the book.
