The Fire Comes to Thérèse has now been on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback editions for about six months now (how time flies!), and today the 2nd edition goes live. I have made several small but important changes, chief among them being fixes to the spacing of paragraphs and the tabs in both the Kindle and paperback editions, to ensure that it is readable on any screen and on the printed page.
Secondly, I have gone through and completed a grammar pass, hopefully catching any of the small punctuation mistakes that still remained. Close quotes after em dashes remain the bane of my existence, but hopefully I’ve caught them all.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I’ve added an acknowledgements page, to recognize the invaluable assistance of three people that made this book a reality: Dr. Benjamin Keil, Winchell Chung, and my wife, Mary Claire. Each of these individuals is truly responsible in their own way with making this book happen–only the good parts, mind: if there’s a problem I take full responsibility for it!
So thank you to you three, and I’m sorry for not having added that page from the very beginning!
