Here is a fun fact. Circa 550 BC the tyrant of Agrigento, Sicily ordered hollow bronze bull be built. Captured enemies were placed in the immense statue and a fire was kindled beneath it, roasting the victim alive. To the amusement of those outside the bull, the screams from within it sounded like the natural sound of a bull roaring.
