Ilan sa mga Suggestion kay PDigong para sa Kapakanan ng mga Writer
-sa creative work kahit pa commissioned work, dapat wala nang tax na kakaltasin
-books or any cultural or creative products na gawang filipino, dapat walang vat
-active (as in more! more! more!) promotion ng writers, books from the philippines sa ASEAN at sa buong mundo
-more translators from fil to english, more translation projects, more translation grants from local languages to fil and english (i love sir rio pero puwede kayang tama na ang pagpopondo sa translation ng mga akdang banyaga to filipino? dapat ang nagpopondo diyan, hindi kwf kundi mga embassy andami dami kaya nilang pera)
-financial assistance sa shipping fees ng mga books inside the philippines (as in inter-region) kung puwede sana, gawing free ang shipping pag state u o state colleges o public libraries ang destination
-pag book store ang itatayo sa isang lugar o commercial establishment, dapat mas mura ang rent, as in 50% off para naman may laban siya kung ikukumpara sa iba pang establishment. Up to 50% dapat ang space dedicated sa filipiniana books. The other 50% puwedeng imported books and school and office supplies
-free trainings/seminars/orientation para sa mga literary agent sa buong mundo re: Filipino authored works (puwede ring ipasok ito as dept of tourism project, sila ang maghohost ng mga literary agent from all around the world, ipasyal nila sa boracay hahaha)
-free legal assistance as in lawyer that will represent writers (regardless of writer’s age, career, number of works produced, etc.) in court
-maglabas ng rules and regulations ang govt agency (like nbdb) re: writers contracts (dapat nakalagay don ang mga dapat sundin ng kahit na sinong gumagawa ng contract for writers: me downpayment, me compli copy, me royalties if applicable, copyright of text should stay with the author –marami pa ito, di ko lang maalala ngayon
-all kinds of contests kahit magkano pa ang premyo, dapat copyright of the text belongs to author. Hindi dapat isinusuko sa contest organizer (unahing sitahin ang palanca awards)
