A Sure Sign of First Love

Today, the Lord Jesus is absent from us. But, of course, spiritually He is still with us. Before His departure He had said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” He is with us in the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us; yet, in another sense, we would say that our Lord Jesus today is absent.
