I am drinking fresh brewed coffee with cream paired with a delicious everything bagel with cream cheese.
What are you treating yourself to this Friday?
I read so many books now. I have found a pattern I find fascinating. I call it the turning point. It’s that point I get in a book where it’s no longer just another book I’m reading but I am all in for that particular story. I wait for this moment I anticipate it.
I am sorry to say that it takes me longer to get to this point in some books then others. Sometimes it doesn’t happen until 25% into the book. By then, I am strongly considering putting it down. Then that magical moment happens and I can’t put it down. It makes the other 20% to get there worth it.
Maybe it takes a long time for me to get hooked into a story because I read so much. Not much is surprising. Yet somehow most books have that turning point. The point where it’s magic.
What is the turning point for you in a book?
