how did people begin coming across your work before you had a significant following? is patient consistency the key?

I don’t really know, I didn’t anticipate how big this would become. I think part of it is consistency and part of it is also writing the sort of thing that people want to read and share. I know that’s somewhat cynical but people like things they identify with and when I started that’s what I was writing. I also believe part of it was just who I was, a Muslim girl writing about love and sex and that was new and exciting I guess.
