Life as a Front Porch

Randy and Josh have worked hard to make a home together. They've been together a good while, plan to grow old together. So when Randy gets a job offer that will take them somewhere else, make them start over, it's a tough decision. But they have the one thing that will make any house they live in a home. Deep, abiding love.

Filled with all of the small details of an everyday love, along with the kind of heat only a longtime couple can generate, Life as a Front Porch proves that as long as you have each other, you can face any challenge.

This is an oldie but a goodie. I really enjoyed writing this one. It's also got the distinction of having, I think, the weirdest title of all my books. The thing is, titles are hard. Occasionally the title will be easy to come up with. Once in a blue moon, I will come up with the title first. But on the whole, titles are hard. When I finally came up with this one, it just seemed perfect for the story and for the couple, Randy and Josh. So in the end, weird or not, I'm very happy with the title of this one.

I've got a busy day tomorrow. I'm participating in The Romance Studio's release party and I'm posting on the Romance for the Rest of Us blog.
