More Driving with Jazmine

My sixteen-year-old granddaughter, Jazmine, is attending summer school.  This morning I picked her up on my way into the office.  I was a few minutes early and thought I'd let her drive, as she needs the practice.  Our last adventure behind the wheel was traumatic, but I've recovered.  Jazz was extra cautious this time.  She went 20 mph in a 45 mph zone.  (Mind you, this is on Mile Hill Drive with a nice downhill slope.)  The line of cars behind us stretched from Port Orchard to Seattle.  I bit my tongue and let her drive.   When we neared the high school, where the speed zone is 20 mph, Jazz speeded up to 50 mph.  I grabbed hold of the dashboard and screamed, "Slow down!"  She eased off the gas, and we screeched to a halt in front of the school.  Her final words to me as she climbed out of the car were:  "I can hardly wait to read your blog!"
