I get this a lot.  I particularly get it from people who seem to want me to be feuding with top female creators, like Kelly Sue DeConnick. 

The truth is, I LOVE Kelly Sue, we send each other notes of encouragement all the time, we pass along opportunities, and I am delighted every time she, or G. Willow, or Marjorie Liu, or any of them have a big success. That’s kind of been my dream for ages and now it’s real. :)

I have had some arguments with editors, there’s a couple I wouldn’t work with again. I think I’m better about this now, I love all my editors. Sometimes this was my fault, sometimes theirs, it really doesn’t matter, it’s just a bad fit.

I can’t think of any other creators I’m actually feuding with. I disagree with most of what Dave Sim says, but I think he’s a genius comics creator. I had a weird spat with an artist I have never worked for, that was bizarre, but I think we settled that.

Stuff happens, it’s a creative industry, people get their feelings hurt. I used to be more scrappy about this stuff, but now I’d much rather get the work done well. :)
