WHY I HATED WRITING ONE OF MY MAIN CHARACTERS
She cries.
She runs.
She freaks out.
Ryan, the female lead in The Resurrection of Ryan, was my biggest struggle to write.
When I plotted the book, I knew it was going to be difficult but I wasn't prepared for how I felt about writing Ryan.
She was weak, a coward and selfish.
It wasn't until someone else pointed out her many strengths that I began to see her in a new light.
I struggled the entire book writing her.
