More indie behind-the-scenes: don’t be taken in

I have seen a few posts on Twitter from new-to-indie authors about their estimated or actual expenditures, and they’ve made me somewhat alarmed. Publishing an indie bookdoes have some up-front expenses, but by no means should they break your bank.
