Party politics is a dead duck. I sympathise with Green supporters, Corbyn supporters and those who cling to the Labour Party because they know a Tory Government is to be avoided at all costs. But it's been a game of electoral tennis for too long now and look at the inequality around us. They've had hundreds of years to fix things and very little has improved.
This is why it's time to think about creating alternatives. There's enough of us; it's just a matter of cooperating and coordinating our efforts. It's not impossible, but there's a hell of a long way to go. However, I'm optimistic that the emerging generations will come to realise that the species can't survive on the present path.

Yep. I think a lot of those Labour supporters will leave Labour and follow Corbyn-types in the future. It's easy to be sceptical and fearful of the brave new world emerging, but the bigger the powerful elite business politics gets, the bigger the people's revolt will grow too. And it doesn't matter if we don't see the changes in our own lifetimes - I have no doubt that the grass roots masses will knock it all down and start again one day. As Orwell said in 1984, the hope lies with the proles - and that's what I'm seeing changing right now. Us liberal lefty types have always been 'on side', but the working class is gonna join us.

That's my new claim to fame.

That's my new claim to fame."
Nice!
The whole Corbyn lynching has been unbelievable - but actually not at all, as it was to be expected. I have the utmost respect for the man. All we see is the media supporting Labour politicians and never the proletariate Labour supporters who voted for him - and I've little doubt they will vote for him again. Forget what the people think - who Corbyn represents - let's instead show clips of Theresa May ridiculing him in parliament with Oxford smart-arse jokes (and cut as soon as Corbyn stands up to reply).
The splits in Labour and other parties were of course brewing, but the people's support of Corbyn (but not Labour) I can only see as a good thing, as it all adds weight to the grass roots change that is happening.
As you say: "we need to creatively organise ourselves outside of political parties and in ways that reflect the sort of world we want to live in." And yes, this is already happening.
So let the bastards play their games. We shall overcome one day.
