The Mystery of my Combox Software

Now and then, for no discernible reason, my combox software will take random comments and put them in a moderation file. Who knows why. Now and then, I look at my comments, not one my blog, but via the dashboard thingie that lets me see all threads. Now and then, I notice something is moderated and, if it's not particularly abusive, stupid or spammish I unmoderate it and it then appears in the combox. If you contribution to a thread seems to disappear into the ether, odds are pretty good that the software selected you for moderation in that precocious and unpredictable way it has (though now and then I do delete stuff that seems to me to be abusive, stupid, or spammish.
