Cambodia – the monk who forgot how to chant

 

A Mekong cruise through Cambodia and Vietnam is a wonderful way to experience a great deal of those two countries in not much time.

I’ve written a number of stories about Scenic’s cruise on the lovely Scenic Spirit. Here’s another about our wonderful Cambodia guide, a former monk, who gave us a complex and fascinating insight into Buddhism, using some of his own story to illustrate this way of life.
