Welcome to my new blog!
Thank you for visiting my new blog. I look forward to hearing from you, learning from you, and answering any questions you may have. I've been doing my little happy dance since publishing my debut novel, End of Seasons, a YA apoc suspense/thriller: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ICMYJU4
After writing four complete manuscripts (not counting all the novels I started and never finished) to develop my craft, I finally took the plunge and chose to self-publish. I am having a blast learning about publishing and promotion, all while building a fancy new website. Although I have been a writer and editor for 25 years, I feel like such a newbie! I am discovering how crazy busy a writer's life becomes once they are published. Added to the daily workload of writing or plotting out your next book, you suddenly have all of these added responsibilities that go with promoting your book. My head is spinning, but I'm having the time of my life.
I look forward to hearing from you. Some of you have beta-read End of Seasons and provided much appreciated feedback, which I happily incorporated. I love beta readers/critique partners! A long time ago, I learned the importance of embracing critique in order to grow as a writer. Even the harshest critique helps us grow as writers if we are not too proud to accept and take it seriously. A big thank you to those who have read for me and for those who will in the future!!
