Superball

Superball

Have you ever tried to catch
a Superball
that has a lot of spin on it?

When it bounces off the floor
it springs away
in a completely opposite direction.

Then you try catching it again,
but it keeps springing away
at odd angles.

It zigs and you zag.
It goes left and you go up.
It almost gets embarrassing
after a while.

You may even feel 
the need to tell people
that you are really a normal person
and you don’t often trip over
your own knees like that.

Sometimes that’s the way
love feels.
