When I looked at Trails of Sin being released globally on Kindle, I had a feeling akin to holding my baby for the first time. I could feel my dreams coming true. In those few moments, my mind raced through the entire journey from the germination of an idea to that book taking shape.
Writing is a very personal matter. You work on your manuscript through days and nights, pouring out your dreams, your fantasies, your thoughts and opinions. It is a world you, and only you, dwell in for months.
And, just as a parent brings up a child and then lets him or her go out and face the world, when the book is ‘out there’, it is no longer your own private haven. It becomes one with the world.
Over the last long weekend, the book enjoyed bestseller ranks between #11 and #25 consistently in its genre. Being conscious of the sheer number of books in that genre, those rankings were overwhelming.
A big thanks and lots of love from the bottom of my heart to all of you for embracing Trails of Sin. You touched me – touched me deep!
