Bloody Gullets Request For Reviews! When Did Being A Marketing Machine Become A Problem?
Anyone up for a review-copy for review exchange?
Some of you, who follow my writing, know that I recently released a collection of short stories called “Bloody Gullets” (28 June, 2016), following up on my comitment to writing that began anew with the release of my last book, Missing Pieces, in February of this year.
Unfortunately (it seems, although it’s a good thing, too) I got so used to doing 2 hours of marketing every day that I’ve managed to put myself in a spot where I’ll be “Book Of The Day” on a a great book website the day before the earliest any of my editorial reviews will come in (The ones on Amazon that I have to manually add - as opposed to the user reviews that anyone is more than welcome to post :)
And, while I’m certain that reviews are coming, I’ve fine-tuned my marketing efforts to the point that I’m getting great exposure earlier than I expected (Again, a high quality problem).
If anyone is interested in reading “Bloody Gullets” and leaving an Amazon review (Good, bad, in between - I’m not asking for a particular kind of review, because that would be a violation of Amazon’s TOS) before 21 July (Within the next 14 days) please let me know via Facebook, Twitter, this blog (it should have answers enabled), my website or just email me.
If you’ve already purchased the book, and can leave a review by that time, also contact me (or use your real name on Amazon and I’ll contact you) and I’ll do something extra nice for you. I’m not sure what yet, but I have three books in various stages of edits and the next one should be out in September (perhaps sooner, depending upon what happens when) and, maybe, I could gift you that, or any of my other books (???) I’m open to suggestions.
Thanks - before and after the fact - for your help!
Peace,
Mike
