The new world of political correctness

Some people say that we're heading towards a 'nanny' society, where the government will - with the best of intentions - guide us from the cradle to the coffin.

Well, Amazon is certainly in the danger of heading into this direction as well. I had launched a small advertisement for:



but after three days it was refused: the blood sputters do not answer to Amazon's guidelines of conduct. Feebly I tried to explain that a book about murder may contain some violence (and those who may have read it know that's it's particularly tame for its genre) - but in vain.

Big Brother decided otherwise...

Well, although I know that Goodreads is owned by Amazon, I'm daring enough to display the cover here now once again....
