My husband shared an urban legend with me about a lake like Loch Ness. No sea monster, but a sinister history nonetheless. It’s rumored that because of its remote location and extreme depth, the Mafia used to drop bodies in Loch Sheldrake chained to juke boxes or wearing, as they called them, “cement overshoes.” Of course, my crazy wild imagination took off with that rumor, and Hearts Unloched was born.
