Aren’t we miniature things after all? Tiny inventions in a great big diorama, motionless from far enough away. We are a whisper’s width, a fraction of a feather, and we have no clue how small that is; we are minuscule on the scale of things, and so much time is wasted in pretending otherwise. There is a humble relief in realizing this, a grounding truth. Be small and appreciate just how grand the world around us is.
