Took the Train

After flying back to Fairbanks from Dead Horse, we had lunch with the group we traveled north with and then spend the rest of the day recovering from the two days we spend riding to Prudhoe Bay.

The next day, we boarded the train to Denali, then hopped on a bus for the 90 mile journey to the back country. Another day of travel but we saw lots of wild life.



With the bear in the area, the park ranchers would not let us get off the bus at the rest area until they parked their trucks between us and the bear.

So all we saw was a "bear's behind."


But we didn't care it was just fun seeing the locals.
