In His Arms cover - sequel to Free Me.
I hope every survived July 4th with a now fading sunburn and not too many hot dogs under your belts. We spent it quietly, watched a period movie (my personal faves, bet you couldn't have guessed that, right?)
Then the writing week started with an idea for some short vignettes. I'll tell you all about them at a later date, but it looks as though there will be about twelve of them, ranging from three to six thousand words and each pure m/m erotica.
Yesterday morning, I found out Free Me was #4 on the Amber Allure best selling list for June. Not shabby at all, considering it came out on June 5 AND is my first contemporary.
Last night, I got the cover for the sequel to Free Me, which is In His Arms, out at Amber Allure on August 7th. Is that not gorgeous? Bryan would be the shirtless guy and of course Phil the hunk in front.
So many things have been happening, including release dates and such. I'm going to put up a schedule on the side bar.
The charity auction to help Kitty Kolya went well. Poor thing swallowed sewing thread and it caused considerable problems, as you might imagine. Money was raised, thanks to Aleks Voinov and Rachel Haimowitz, and it looks as though Kolya will be fine.
The winner of the Sapphire Club series was Connie (CAS on the m/m Goodreads group) and I was happy to send her the books this morning. She had some VERY kind things to say about Free Me, a wonderful way to start my morning.
I'm off to write, but wanted to share the new cover and some news with you first.
Till next time,
Hugs,
Brita
