For those of you who listen to me talk (ok whine) on Facebook, you know I've gotten a hold of myself and re-joined the gym and even gotten myself a personal trainer. It took going up a size in my clothes—the first time in years and years—for me to wake up and see what I was doing to myself. I didn't like it.
This has nothing to do with being skinny and everything to do with being healthy-I'm doing it to get my blood pressure down, my cholesterol back in line and to feel better in my own skin. I don't want to be a twig, I want to get back in control of my life. I've always been a pretty healthy eater and have now started drinking green juices and eating much less meat and more fish and dark green vegetables. Fruits in moderation because they're high in sugar.
