Once upon a time, I, lake, dreamt I was sky, with clouds floating hither and thither, to all intents and purposes sky. I was conscious only of my happiness as sky, unaware that I was lake. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again.
Now I do not know whether I was then lake dreaming I was sky, or whether I am now sky, dreaming I am lake.
Between lake and sky there is necessarily a distinction. The transition is called the transformation of material things.
