The Irony In a Title: 1 More Page but too Tired

Picture My daughter and I visited our local library (which you should also do, your local library is not only a wealth of books, it most likely has great things going on throughout the year). She was looking to stock up on books to read this week so I meandered around with no specific topic or title in mind. I skimmed the drawing and painting books, a couple christian fiction titles, and then the librarian said, "Lisa, there are some new non-fiction." and pointed. I was drawn to this book, The Sleep Revolution.

I have a love one with neurological sleep issues and thought it would be a beneficial read to learn how I can better help her. BUT as I read the first chapter, guess what, I NEED THIS BOOK TOO! I'm thankful the librarian pointed me in this direction and look forward to reading it this week yet as I struggled to keep my eyes open last night, so I could read one more page, I started laughing. I laughed so much, my husband asked, "What is so funny?" To which I answered, "I'm forcing myself to stay awake to read a book about the importance of sleep." We both laughed, then I put the book down, turned off the light and went to bed.

How crazy was that? I haven't read the entire book yet but it's good so far and I think there are nuggets within to improve my health and sleep, as well as my loved one.
Does anyone struggle with sleep deprivation or an inability to sleep?
Do you have a book and/or suggestion that helps you keep the sleep?
