A reader writes...

I am trying to learn more about my Catholic faith and I read alot about the writings of the Didache , do you have any suggestion where or what copy I could get that would be the best to read and study?
You can find translations on line. Just Google it. It's basically a little handbook on some basics of the faith, the moral life, and some tips on the sacraments, and how to avoid getting snookered by false prophets. It has a very Jewish flavor, as it the custom with very early Christianity, so it tends to speaking in binary ways about the Way of Light and the Way of Darkness, etc.

I expect the good folks over at the Sacred Page could point you to some good resources for extracting the juice from it. It was only rediscovered in the 1890s, I believe, through there was mention of it in ancient sources.
