AMIDST THE B.S. STORM, SOME GUSTS OF LOGIC

“No fly = no buy?” Sounds good and even logical on the surface, until we realize that there are profound due process issues which go far beyond firearms possession. See http://joshblackman.com.

Former President Bill Clinton, still kept safe by a phalanx of bodyguards carrying .357 SIGs with still more serious firepower readily available, tells us law-abiding citizens returning fire on a mass murderer would have just made things worse.  What exactly is Bill Clinton’s expertise on shooting? Would it be the time when he was pretending he supported the Second Amendment, which he apparently thought was about duck hunting, and he had some small and debatable part in the assassination of a duck? (I think “assassination” is the  word when something is killed for political reasons.)

A New York reporter tries an AR15 for the first time, and is so horrified he thinks he has PTSD. (Apparently, he knows as much about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as he does about semiautomatic firearms.) Hilarity ensues, with this from our friend Larry Correia doing the best send-up I’ve seen yet on that reporter’s work.  .

And this young woman brings us a refreshing breath of logic, too.
