I’m just saying it’s probably not coincidental that Sherlock messes up everyone else’s name (can’t remember Lestrade’s first name, calls Molly John, etc.) but became obsessed with finding out John’s middle name, and it’s probably not coincidental that the flip side of that is John knowing Sherlock’s full name but not Mary’s name at all
