Chap five Learning Curve

SiGh! (big dramatic)

I was planing on reporting that I just finished the edits of chapter five. I can't-the end of the chapter is missing!!! I can remember typing out part of it. NA and friend is fighting a monster and they end up burying it. That sub scene is not there. I looked on my laptop and back-up flash drives and a couple of other places. Every chapter five ends in the same place. Which means I either titled that ending something else for some reason or I lost it. Originally this scene was included with another scene under a different title but I found that. I rearranged sections of chapters and so maybe the missing section got placed somewhere else or it never got saved after I typed it out or I deleted it.

To make matters worse that whole battle scene hadn't been revised. Somehow I never went back over it after I wrote it. I planned to, I did the rest of the book-at least I think I did, I will find out soon, but not this scene. Yikes, Oh oh and oops all rolled together.

So now I will have to rewrite that sub scene. I think it is short so it won't take long but...

At least though the rest of the chapter is done. I had to write out a new scene to make things fit better and to explain something. But I think that is good for other reasons so it works out.

So next week I will post a part two of this post with Chapter five really being done. Maybe earlier.
