Donald Trump is trying to recover from his latest comments but he is a man of many missteps. He may have gotten away with this in the Republican primary, but he won’t in the general election. The Republican primary turned out to be a disaster and Trump is limping to the nomination. None of the issues important to conservatives are front and center; there’s no discussion about liberty, Constitution, national security, cutting government or deficit spending. If Trump loses it won’t be because of conservatives or Ted Cruz, it will be because of Trump and his surrogates. Also, why doesn’t Trump reach out to conservatives instead of reaching out to Bernie Sanders supporters because they agree on trade. If he and Sanders people agree on trade does that means Trump is against capitalism? Finally, Kansas voters favor Hillary over Trump and 21% are undecided. If Republicans can’t win in Kansas, where can they win?
