Less Than a Month to Go to Submit a Story to The Great Hiatus Sherlock Holmes Collection. Plus Beyond Watson and Peculiar Provenance Updates!

After the success of the first Belanger Books anthology, Beyond Watson, we are gearing up for our second collection. This one will be a collection of stories which take place during The Great Hiatus, the time from May 4th, 1891 - April 5th, 1894 when the world believed that Holmes had perished along with Professor Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls. Of course, we all know that Holmes was traveling the world under the identity of the Norwegian explorer Sigerson. What did he do during this time? Did he tell Watson the full story of his adventures when he returned in "The Empty House"? That is for the you to determine. If you would like to submit a story or have any questions, please contact me at derrick@belangerbooks.com. All entries are due July first, and they must be traditional Holmes stories (no time travel or zombies showing up, please!!).
Beyond Watson

For those of you who missed the Kickstarter campaign, Beyond Watson is now available in paperback and in the Kindle store. For those of you with the Amazon Kindle Unlimited membership, you can actually read the book for free. Here's what Sherlockian Frank A. Metzel had to say about both Beyond Watson and my book Sherlock Holmes: The Adventure of the Primal Man. "Just finished "Beyond Watson" after reading "...Primal Man." You hit home runs with both. I particularly enjoyed "Yes, Virginia..." Keep up the excellent work. I will be recommending "Beyond Watson" to my Sherlock Holmes class this Fall."
You can hear me discussing Beyond Watson on the podcast The Sherlock Conversations at https://sherlockconversations.wordpre....
