Aaaaand....that's what's up.

It's been a while since I updated this thing. Big surprise right? I seriously suck at this. But on a brighter note, I have been writing.
Lots.
So I thought I would give an update on what's been going on in my crazy little writing world. For the last year I have been working on my current WIP, Sylvie. As some of you know it's a standalone, contemporary romance. It's an emotional story. One that resonates deeply with me. I think that's why it's taken me so long to write. It's played tug of war with my heart, challenging me on so many different levels. As a writer and a human being. But I am absolutely in love with this story and I hope you will be too.

I had wanted to release this book sooner, but a story like this cannot be rushed. I plan to release by then end of this Summer, but as of right now, I'm not comfortable giving a release date just yet.
Soon though.
Very, very soon!

P.S. When I do give the release date, I have another BIG surprise to go along with it.

If I can hold out that long.
In addition to Sylvie, I have also been co-writing a book my dear friend, KC Lynn called Unlawful Justice. Writing this book has changed my life, but writing it with someone like KC has been an experience I can never fully explain. She is such an amazing person. Incredibly smart and funny with a kind heart and a gentle soul. I am truly honored to call her my friend. Although, I swear I think we were separated at birth. We are so much alike, yet so different. It's scary sometimes, I'm convinced we share the same brain.

Writing this story with her has changed me in so many ways, and given me a whole new perspective on life, writing and the world around me. Our hope is that when you read our story, it does the same for you.
We plan to release Unlawful Justice Fall 2015.
However, we are working on the cover and hope to have the reveal by the end of August. We can't wait to share it with you. We flew out to Detroit to be a part of the process and let tell you, it was one of the most exciting things I've ever done. Watching our vision come to life right before our eyes is something very, very special. Shout out to, Lindee Robinson PhotographyMichael Dorr and Allyssa Bartolomeo for bringing our characters to life.
These two are the perfect Liv and Grayson.

So that's what's up. I have several other projects in the works but nothing that garners being mentioned as of yet.

Thank you all for your continued love and support!

Love,

K.
