My very 1st published book!!!
Wow, okay, fast forward 6 months after my last post, when I finished the final cover for Nothing Is As It Seems. Now, much later than I wanted but am very happy with, I am back to say that the book is FINALLY up for sale on CreateSpace!!! Parteh!! :D And just in time for the Holidays too.
Anyway, now that I've FINALLY gotten it up, I can focus on the second novel in the series I started soon after and have been putting off, as well as the novel I wrote for NaNoWriMo* 2009. There will be a revised version of Nothing Is As It Seems sometime, too, because the margins are a liiittle too big. It's all good, though, no worries if you're planning on reading it! :D It's just a time-consuming thing that I've been putting off because of that fact. Easy job, but long to do lol. Oh well.
For the time being, I'm only going to be selling the books on CreateSpace, the site I'm self-publishing the book(s) through. (I now know why authors have publishers and editors and all that, it's A LOT of work to do it all on your own, I'm tellin you!!)
After the beginning of the new year, though, hopefully I'll be selling them on shelves too. The Books-A-Million we practically camp at will hopefully agree, then it'll all go from there that much more, YAY!!!
After that, who knows, mwahahahaha!
If it works out that I really do want to make a career of this, I might even start selling them on Amazon.com. Only time will tell.
So, that's a wrap for now, I think. I'll be sure and do a lot more updates and sneak-peeks of up-coming novels now that I've gotten the first book caught up and out.
A little hint to the second Erstwhile Beginning's installtion: though I don't quite have a name for it, I do have a general plot mostly done. Being that the first novel is focused more on Niccolo, this second one will be more centered on both Nic and Kage's pasts, family, etc, but will also focus on getting to know Kage better, like this one was with Nic. As well as some returning crew ;p. So keep an eye out for updates about it and other things!
Also, a hint to the novel for this year's now-finished contest: it still has humor of all sorts, action, a bit of amour, but this time instead of bounty hunters for people, it's a different type of hunter. That's all that I'm giving away this time, though, so stay tuned for more on that too.
Thanks for stopping by!! Much love and God Bless!
Have a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and a happy/merry anything else you celebrate!

* NaNoWriMo is short for Nation Novel Writing Month, an annual contest held every November by The Office Of Letters and Light. This year was their 11th year running, I think. It's an amazing event, and not the only one (there's even one called Script Frenzy in April). They hold NaNoWriMo in schools, offices, everywhere, for groups and individuals world-wide! As boring as it sounds, it's not one bit. The people who run it are incredibly dedicated to making sure every year is better than the last for anyone and everyone who loves the literary arts, and then some. So check them out sometime at nanowrimo.org , because they do a much better job at making it sound as good as it is than I do lol.
