Elected Officials--what's wrong?

I don't know about you, but does it seem as if our elected leaders aren't doing their job?

Let me explain.

Much of what is heard from our politicians constitutes blaming someone else for problems that all of us face--no jobs, poor economy, two wars.

Republicans point the finger at Democrats and the President. Democrats blame Republicans. Tea Party people blame President Obama, the media, and anyone else.

Isn't finger pointing a childish expression?
Certainly, it must be ill-suited for our so-called leaders, in Washington and elsewhere.

Personally, I don't want any politicians that blame others.

How about you?

Another mystery: Why can't the Democrats and Republicans put their differences quietly aside and work things out? Isn't that the reason they were elected? Isn't their duty to serve the needs of the nation? The people?

We're all in this together. And remember, the mandate from 1776 is government for the people, by the people.

So, let your Congressman hear you.

best wishes for all
